Tuesday/Thursday, 10am MT
Location: Zoom
Instructor: kk
Level: Beginner to Advanced
Class Length: 45 minutes
Floor Work: None

I've designed this time together to nurture your body and reduce physical and emotional stress through breathwork, Tai Chi, and guided visualization. This 45-minute class is for individuals of all ages and fitness levels who want to enhance their overall well-being in a supportive and serene environment.

Through the slow dance of Tai Chi, the body builds strength and balance. This provides a body with the ability to lead with more stable and strong movements throughout our daily lives. Knowing where we are in space (proprioception) provides safety and security. Build balance for a better life while having fun.

Embrace your journey towards a more balanced, peaceful, and healthy life. No prior experience is necessary, and it is accessible to seniors, people with disabilities, and anyone recovering from injuries. All movements can also be comfortably done while seated, ensuring everyone can participate easily and comfortably.

I'm so fortunate to have found this class at a time when my body and mind were screaming for calm, balance, and focus. The flowing Tai Chi movements strengthen lower extremities and upper core, whether sitting or standing. The breath work and guided imagery energize the nervous system and lower blood pressure. Since this work sets the tone for the rest of my day, I feel I've given myself a gift when I join the class. The greatest benefit, however, is utilizing these skills at any time to "release" and feel better. SL

Breathwork—We first engage in breathwork to calm the mind and energize the body. Learn breathing techniques that enhance lung capacity, improve oxygen flow, and foster deep inner peace.

Tai Chi—Next, we will dance gentle Tai Chi movements, focusing on balance, flexibility, and coordination. These flowing, meditative exercises promote physical strength and relaxation, helping to improve posture, increase energy levels, and reduce stress.

Guided Visualization—Each class closes with a guided visualization session. Allow yourself to be led through calming and inspiring mental imagery, which aids in relaxation, stress reduction, and mental clarity. This practice helps cultivate a positive mindset and can be a powerful tool for achieving personal goals and inner harmony.
