Equipment: Exercise Ball - 9 inches, chair with no wheels, exercise band, 2-3 lb. weights, but all exercises can be done without equipment.
This 45-minute class improves balance and mobility, making you steadier and preventing falls. As we age, the systems that help us maintain balance—our vision, our inner ear, and our leg muscles and joints—tend to break down. The good news is that balance training helps prevent and improve those losses. The class includes a warm-up with dance cardio, exercises to improve balance and joint mobility, and a seated cooling down. It's excellent for beginners. Please sign into class at least 10 minutes before the start time.
